Founding Directors, Gary and Catherine Grant have chosen to strengthen the board to create a cornerstone of expertise that will facilitate further growth and expansion at the already fast growing toy chain.
Joining the team are:
Mark Dixon – Buying & Marketing Director.
Mark joined the Entertainer two years ago from Woolworths where he was head of the Toys and Stationery Strategic Business Unit.
With over 20 years experience within the Toy industry, his previous positions include Marketing Director of Waddingtons games, a variety of senior purchasing roles within both Toys R Us and Argos and Vice Chairman of the British Association of Toy Retailers.

Mike Thompson – Operations Director
Formerly Managing Director of The Good Brand Works, a social business consultancy, whose clients have included Nestlé, Kraft Hungary, Danone Hungary, Centrica / British Gas, Abbey National, Woolworths, Mothercare and Channel 4. Mike will be responsible for retail operations, people management and training .

In the last two years The Entertainer has grown from strength to strength with the addition of 10 new retail sites and the construction of a ‘state of the art’ purpose built warehouse and distribution centre.
The Entertainer is planning to increase the growth momentum over the next five years by leveraging its points of difference and its store expansion programme.
